My Choice

I will forever worship Karen’s skills of finding me the perfect books to read. When I was in the hospital, she brought me The Notebook Girls and The Davinci Code, both really awesome books. Then for Christmas, she bought me Twilight by Stephenie Meyer. I am forever going to put her in charge of picking out books - got that Karen? It’s offically your job. Be sure to come up with huge lists of ideas to give my parents for my 18th birthday - which is like five months away. Woah.
This book is so amazing, I think I love it more then the Harry Potter books - and that’s really saying something considering the amount of times I’ve read the Harry Potter books. I recommend it to anybody!
It’s about a human girl falling in love with a vampire boy, who has also fallen in love with her - except he has a desire to kill her. It’s really good. So go read it. It’s the perfect novel to get your teenage daughter or niece or something. Unless, of course, they hate reading with a passion. Then just buy them the audio book, because they would love the plot even if they hated to read!
I really didn’t mean for this post to be a book review but its so good I can’t help myself. I just finished New Moon - the book that takes place after Twilight, and it too was really good. Twilight is my favourite though.
Anyway, my advice is quickly check out this novel. It’s awesome. Heck, I’m blogging about it. Clearly it’s a good book.
Okay…now that Karen knows how much I love her for buying me that book, I can blog about something else….guess what today is? It’s the 5er. Yep. Nifty and I have been together for 5 months already. I’ve yet to screw it up in any way - although I keep trying. That was a joke by the way, I don’t mean to try. I’m just naturally a very screwy person. Heh.
I’m sure you could all tell from my long winded posts about how my mind works. Actually, I’m not to sure how my mind works. But my point is that he still really likes me, even after getting to know me. Weird huh? Usually I have to maintain a great distance. I come with a lot of baggage, and when guys find that out they usually run for the hills.
Not Nifty though, he doesn’t even think I have baggage. He thinks I’m perfect - for him anyway. So yay for 5 solid months, and hopefully many more to come!
I’m going to go read Twilight again, because it’s just that awesome.

< ![CDATA[No I haven't read anything by Poppy Z. Brite, I think I'll make a trip to the library though to find out if it is anything like that lol. I love vampire love stories - I dunno. Sometimes I feel like I would fit in better in the gothic periods =)
I started a new fanfiction spin-off on Twilight, lol I’m such a dork.
And it really is an eternity in high school!]]>

< ![CDATA[A lot of the reviews for Twilight on Amazon said that it's not just a young adult book and they enjoyed it as a fan of vampire fiction, so I think I'll give it a try.
I’m hoping that you’ve read the Anne Rice novels, because her Vampire Chronicles are amazing (at least the first 4-5 of them).]]>

< ![CDATA[You should Avitable, and yes I have read some of Anne Rice's novels - I wasn't too sure if she was the author I had in mind when I read your favourite books list, but she wrote Pandora I'm assuming? And Queen of the Damned? Those are the only ones I've read.
Tomorrow my friend is bringing me the first few novels in a series about vampires by Kelley Armstrong. I hear they are supposed to be really good too.]]>
